Till Wobblers & Shelf Wobblers
Till or Shelf Wobblers are a very effective way to engage the publics attention, as movement attracts the eye much quicker and much more often than static objects.
Clearpoint make two different types of shelf wobblers. One type is the more budget conscious standard wobbler arms attached to shaped printed card, the second being the more bespoke personal shelf wobbler which is made from a once piece plastic stem and head design.
Of the two styles of shelf wobblers, Clearpoint can design almost any shape and size, testing each design to ensure the correct amount of ‘wobble’ for maximum impact.
DIY for You
The phrase ‘Do It Yourself’ (or D.I.Y.) is used to describe the modifying, repairing or building of something without the assistance of paid experts or professionals. Nonetheless, since the 50's the phrase has become the most common way of describing home improvement projects which a man or woman may try on their own. it could most definitely be said that the D.I.Y. ‘movement’ was given a huge boost during the 1970s due to the introduction of home video systems (VCR's) as this allowed D.I.Y. instructors to create audio-visual demonstrations of basic D.I.Y procedures that consumers could watch in their own home (as opposed to attending educational classes as had been the situation in previous years). Although prior years had seen the publication of periodicals and magazines which supplied useful information regarding D.I.Y procedures, the nineteen seventies also saw the introduction of the first DIY home improvement books (initially collections of magazine articles).
However, the greatest advances in D.I.Y started in the nineteen nineties as this was the time when home-improvement ideas and demonstrations emerged on the Internet in the form (initially) of advice and bulletin-board sites where inexperienced people could ask for guidance from experts for a D.I.Y project that they were undertaking or planning. At this time there was also the emergence of specialist D.I.Y tv shows and even entire channels dedicated to the subject. Both developments were undertaken as an attempt to attract the growing number of individuals who have been taking an interest in D.I.Y. projects which range from knitting to full scale home renovation.
These days In the 21st, D.I.Y is practically an integral part of our daily lives: it seems that every television channel plays adverts for a minimum of one stockist of D.I.Y materials and nowadays a great number of people seem to be undertaking home improvements (such as redecorating a room and gardening) personally.
The great increase in demand for D.I.Y materials that has resulted from the emergence of a more practical and ‘hands on’ culture has resulted in a tremendous surge in the number of D.I.Y stockists from small, privately owned firms to national and also international chains. Such a near-surplus in the supply of painting, tiling and other decorating materials (in comparison to earlier decades) has meant that it's never been cheaper for one to undertake a D.I.Y. project and the undeniable fact that there are lots of useful resources available (in the forms of websites, books, television programmes etc) ensures that it has never been easier to find guidance for any possible D.I.Y. undertaking.

D.I.Y 2
It has been said that D.I.Y has never been a more popular hobby than it is today and if the thousands of television adverts for stockists of D.I.Y materials is anything to go by, seems like not only is this the case, but it also suggests that it has never been so easy to attempt a DIY project in the home We hear the term D.I.Y almost every day and even though everybody who hears it recognizes that the term is the acronym for the phrase ‘Do It Yourself’, giving further definition may be difficult. The official definition for D.I.Y is it is usually a saying used to describe the building, repairing or modifying of anything without the assistance of paid professionals or experts. Although in recent years the phrase has become attached to the Arts and Crafts movement as well as the pirate radio station and indie rock scene, the most frequent use of the phrase is when it is applied to home improvement.
The phrase ‘D.I.Y’ in relation to home improvement jobs attempted by individuals entered everyday use throughout the 50s. Maybe it's said that the creation of VCR's (home video systems) in the 70s gave the D.I.Y ‘movement’ a considerable boost as this allowed consumers to watch audio-visual demonstrations of basic D.I.Y. procedures (created specifically by expert D.I.Y. instructors) in the comfort of their own home instead of needing to attend educational classes (as had been the case in the past). Nevertheless, obviously the most successful advances in the D.I.Y. movement surfaced in the mid-1990's because it was at this time that advice sites and online bulletin boards, made especially for D.I.Y. enthusiasts, emerged on the web and these websites allowed novices to request help, tips and guidance from the experts with regards to D.I.Y projects that they were planning to undertake. The mid 1990's also saw the creation of television shows exclusively catering for audiences of D.I.Y enthusiasts of all abilities as did the emergence of entire channels exclusively dedicated to D.I.Y. Both developments were undertaken in an attempt to draw in the increasing number of D.I.Y enthusiasts undertaking their personal projects (which range from arts and crafts skills such as knitting to full scale home renovation).

Is DIY A Hobby Today
It has been stated many times that D.I.Y has never been a more popular hobby than it is today and if the thousands of T.V. ads for suppliers of D.I.Y materials are anything to go by, seems like not only is this the case, but additionally it shows that it's never before been so easy to attempt a DIY project in the home We hear the phrase D.I.Y nearly every single day and even though everybody who hears it recognizes that the phrase is the acronym for the phrase ‘Do It Yourself’, giving any further description may be challenging. Worktops and Kitchen worktops
In most kitchens, the worktops are used for many purposes and receive a lot of wear and tear. Among other things, we stack dishes on them, use the surface to prepare food, and also stand items on, such as a kettle, microwave, bread bin and fruit bowl. As they are usually the backbone of many kitchen designs, worktops must be chosen carefully.
When looking for a kitchen worktop you need to think about the material, colour, and size of worktop you need. People often want to fit in as much worktop as they can without taking up too much space, as having a lot of worktop area gives you more space to work on. So it is advisable to design the layout of your kitchen carefully and to work out how you can create a spacious and usable kitchen.
There are many materials to choose from when buying kitchen worktops such as granite, wood, corian, stone, laminate and even quartz. Granite, quartz and stone are all very hard surfaces, and are also heavy. They last a long time, are practical and easy to clean and are very hardwearing. Visually, these materials look great and give a wonderful finish to both modern and traditional style kitchens. Wood is a traditional material used for worktops and is still a very popular one, as natural wood can either fit in with a modern kitchen or offset a more modern room. Laminate can also be used for kitchen worktops, and is cheaper and more practical than real wood. Corian is a synthetic hard material which can be moulded and shaped to look like wood or stone. It is highly versatile and can be ordered in a huge variety of colours. These are the main materials used for kitchen worktops, and they all come in a variety of prices.
Although the practicality of kitchen worktops is an essential point, You should also think about the style and colour scheme of your kitchen. Most of the natural materials are available in dark, medium and light shades, but all have the same base colour. For example, granite is a steely grey but can range from a very dark colour, to a paler shade of grey. If you are looking something with a little more colour, Corian is an excellent choice.
Kitchen worktops are available from many stores including Chestergate DIY, who stock a range of high quality surfaces.
